Supreme Court issued rules regarding the certification of environmental judges. In the Supreme Court Decree
No. 134/KMA/SK/IX/2011, issued on 5 September 2011, among
others, "Case of the environment
shall be tried by
a judge of the environment,"
as stipulated in Article 5 paragraph (1). Article
2 also confirms "the environmental case to be tried by a judge who
certified the environment and has been appointed by
the Chairman of the Supreme Court".
the environmental judges, there
are some opinions first,
do not need all the board members
getting certified. Simply head of the panel of judges who already have a
certificate. Second, even though if none judges
hold certified, the Chairman of the local High Court appointed the judges from another court
in its territory detasering
(judges from elsewhere who are not their areas of responsibility),
such as handling cases of violence
in Ambon, and can
be used for human rights cases.
