Foreign companies dominate the management
of non-oil mining in Indonesia. Indonesia
is rich in minerals
is very ironic because
the state revenues to be very small.
In fact, Indonesia is abundant with
various mines, among others,
gold, coal, tin, iron
and so on.
State revenue in 2011 from
the general mining only Rp 15.4 trillion. In 2012,
state budget is estimated to reach Rp 13.6 trillion.
This means that only contribute 1.6 percent of
the state budget.
