SINGTEL ACCEPT OFFER BUYBACK TELKOMSEL

PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) will buy back the shares of PT Telekomunikasi Cellular (Telkomsel) and SingTel has been willing to give back 35% owned Shares.

The process  calculation of valuation of buyback value takes about four months, after which the price negotiated and the stages by SingTel while asking the government to request the approval of such action. Thus, the preparation buyback will take a total of six months. TLKM funding sources come from internal cash and borrowings. Telkom's current free cash flow is around Rp 4 trillion to Rp 6 trillion.

Another buyback option is to use treasury stock to be exchanged for shares TLKM Telkomsel. But this step must be approved by the government. Telkom's current treasury stock, at 2.5 percent of total shares. Telkom was also staged a stock buyback. Assuming the buyback of shares in the market running smoothly, then the treasury stock TLKM will increase to 5.63 percent (Kompas.com October 6, 2011).
